CASwell has introduced the new R-5213 high-end cloud storage servers to provide high processing performance, fast data access and flexible storage configurations by supporting a variety of drives at different form factors. This devices is based on two Intel Xeon Scalable Processors (Skylake) using the C622 platform controller hub (Lewisburg) and offering 24 DIMM slots for up to 768 GByte DDR4-2666 ECC main memory. These cloud storage servers are equipped with six Gigabit-Ethernet RJ-45 ports and four 10-Gigabit-Ethernet SFP+ ports. More network connections like dual 25-Gigabit-Ethernet can be added by using PCI Express slots and five NIC expansion slots.
