The CASwell CAF-0121 uses Intel’s latest Atom Processor X Series, that not only supports Virtualization Technology, but also features Intel’s integrated Gaussian and Neural Accelerator for running speed-centric AI workloads. This compact and fanless desktop appliance is perfect for SD-WAN and cybersecurity solutions in small to medium-sized organizations or enterprise branch offices without breaking the bank, even when deployed in large numbers.
When used as a security solution like UTM (unified threat management) or NGFW (next-generation firewall), the CAF-0121 can protect company networks from cyberattacks, while also serving as a secure SD-WAN solution in a compact form factor to provide fast and reliable networking for remote branch locations. Because of the support of basic Artificial Intelligence (AI) methods by Intel’s dual-core Atom X7211E, the CAF-0121 can dramatically improve an organization’s protection against modern and sophisticated cyberattacks when combined with suitable security software. As the TEM can also be used for heating, it makes the CAF-0121 highly suitable for precise temperature control applications, while also supporting a wider temperature range during operation.
The CAF-0121 is equipped with 4GB of onboard DDR4 main memory and uses 8GB eMMC for storage, that can be expanded by microSD through the appropriate card slot. Additionally, the device offers one USB 3.0 port for further enhancements and connectivity.
