CASwell has revealed new fanless desktop appliances built for fast networking and high reliability. CASwell CAF-1022 is based on Intel Atom C2000 (Rangeley) processors supporting Intel QuickAssist Technology to increase performance and efficiency of tasks for security, authentification and compression. Intel QAT is especially useful for these devices as they can be equipped with a variety of Ethernet ports for local networking plus WiFi and LTE modules for wireless and cellular connectivity. Both new solutions are predestined for energy efficient and quiet operation. This device is highly suitable for almost every small or medium-sized office or workplace in need of high and fast connectivity.
