Caswell, Inc., located in Chung-Ho City, Taipei, was founded in 2007. Caswell was set up by a group of engineers with great enthusiasm for embedded application system. In the first year, Caswell was devoted to develop core technology by Linux kernel and applied it into network storage product for small and medium business.
Since 2002, the well-known IPC manufacturer, Portwell, Inc., entered Communication Appliance market and countless worldwide customers entrust their manufacturing requirement for Communication Appliance equipment to Portwell. Meanwhile, Portwell never stop spending effort to maintain this great trust from customers.
In these years, the fast progress of Internet technology and application changes of many enterprises. Furthermore, the demand for shortening project development leadtime and accelerating the listing step of the products, have increased from customers. In order to fit this change and improve competitiveness for customers, Portwell decided to invest Caswell in 2008 to upgrade customized services from hardware to turn-key system platform.
